Pamana ng Karunungan (Legacy of Wisdom) Scholarship Announcement

The Filipino American Organization of Northwest Arkansas is excited to announce the launch of our “Pamana ng Karunungan” 2024 Scholarship! This program is made possible thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, and we invite more sponsors and donors to join us in this effort.

Eligibility:

– Members of the organization

– Students with Filipino-American ancestry or affiliation with our organization

– Current students or those planning to attend college or certification classes in the 2025 school year

Application Details:

• Download and complete the Pamana ng Karunungan Scholarship form then email it to bod@filamofnwa.org.
• Application deadline: November 15, 2024
• Scholarships of $500 and $1000 will be awarded during our Pinoy Fiesta celebration on December 21, 2024, with a second set of winners awarded in May 2025.

Judging Criteria:

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic excellence, service to the

community, personal attributes, and financial need.
